GET IN TOUCH
Rosie runs regular surgeries in both Canterbury and Whitstable once a fortnight. These surgeries are a chance for people get in touch with Rosie to let her know what your feel about issues in the news, government policies and what you want Labour to do about them.
Your Labour Councillors also run monthly surgeries in their local wards and are always willing to help where they can. Councillors can help with problems including anti-social behaviour, planning appeals, licensing and refuse collection.
🗳 It's nearly time to vote in the 2024 general election.
A quick reminder of what to expect when you arrive at your polling station tomorrow:
1️⃣ A member of staff will ask for your name and address, and check that you are on the electoral register. You don't need to bring your poll card to vote.
2️⃣ They will ask to see your photo ID to check that it is valid and that it looks like you.
3️⃣ The staff member will cross your name off the register and give you a ballot paper listing the candidates you can vote for.
4️⃣ Take your ballot paper to a polling booth to cast your vote in private.
5️⃣ Read the instructions on the ballot paper carefully and complete it using the pencil provided. You can also use your own pen or pencil if you would prefer.
6️⃣ If you make a mistake, ask the polling station staff for a replacement ballot paper and fill it in again.
7️⃣ Once you're done, fold your completed ballot paper and put it in the ballot box.

I’m proud to have the support of Anna in this election. Since I was first elected in 2017, I’ve worked hard locally and in Parliament on behalf of constituents like Anna, and my constituency office team have dealt with 60,000 items of casework in seven years.
If you vote to re-elect me as your MP tomorrow, I’ll continue to work on your behalf to represent your views in Parliament and with Ministers, holding regular surgeries locally, and continuing to meet with businesses and organisations from across the constituency. ... See MoreSee Less

I see Rosie has really inspired the youth vote this year. Nice umbrella, by the way. Really sending out a signal.

One of the biggest issues in the last Parliament was the Tory sewage scandal. All of England's rivers, and our precious coastline here in East Kent, are affected by the disgusting practice of the privatised water companies dumping waste into our environmemt.
This must and will stop. Together with a Labour Government I will work to clean up our seas and rivers. Without using taxpayers' money to bail out the fat cats, we will create a Water Regulator with real teeth, end self testing and monitoring, and issue criminal chanrges and huge fines rather than dividends to those responsible.
Change only comes if you vote for it, so if you want to clean up our seas and rivers vote Labour on Thursday and I will help to deliver the change we need. ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you for everything. Regrettably, two of my family members - students - did not receive their postal votes despite chasing. Although we are in the HB&S area, I hope you're able to ask the right questions to our City council and Royal Mail, and find out why this was allowed to happen. On a national scale, we need a dependable way to vote if we can't get there on the day.
